They are, after all, part of our ecosystem.However, having had them in use for months I have realised and seen some shortcomings.1) Most humain trap makers recommend checking the trap each hour! A mouse trapped can die of de-hydration quickly.2) The "shock" of being trapped can result in death from shock/heart failure.3) Mice, being rodents, and not suffering from above will eat through the plastic elements of the trap. The "food" area has the back door which has a metal grill. But the side of this removable door has no metal plate. So mice will eventually chew their way through the trap! Adding a metal layer to the side of the food area door can solve this issue.4) The Water or de-hydration issue. Maybe some system to provide water to captured mice could be added? This may save some mice where the checks of traps is longer than a few hours?5 Some of the metal parts of my traps (a couple out of 6) are showing signs of corrosion. This is not to be expected.Otherwise a successful product that has captured many mice. What I'd like to know is where these repeat visitors are getting into my house! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great in theory *by T***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 August 2018* These mouse traps would appear to be great. I don't like killing any animal but I also do not want them in my house. I placed one of these where I was sure a mouse would find it with peanut butter as the treat. On two consecutive nights the bait disappeared without any capture. I then used a toffee with the same results. So I then stuck a toffee to the sensor plate and this time I caught 2 small mice which I was able to release in the countryside.I would say that a single small mouse is not heavy enough to trigger the sensor plate, which in turn drops the trap door. If you are troubled by larger rodents I am sure this would be a good buy, but despite catching two at once, I would say that it is incapable of trapping small rodents. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ as there were just too many good reviews about this product *by A***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2018* I was a bit skeptic before buying this one , as there were just too many good reviews about this product , and same product was being sold at a slightly higher price by another Vendor. So was't sure if this would be good quality or not.But caught 2 mouse in the first night , one at my house , and another at my friend's place. Using peanut butter.
