Review: Very happy with the Haswing Cayman - I made my own installation setup up for this motor due to the small size of my bow. I've got a 1987 Reneill Beachcraft, 16' and weighing in at 1740 lbs. The 55 lbs of torque were plenty for this boat. My first trip out was with 5 people (total weight of 753 lbs), a small ice chest with drinks and ice, a group 27 deep cycle battery (for the trolling motor only), and a lot of fishing gear. This motor moved us with no problem. Steering was great, power was good at 10% for slow troll, and at 50% it really moved us quickly. The hand held remote was fun to play with. I let everyone else fish for awhile and I just controlled the motor with the remote. No issues, fast response, never lost connection. The foot pedal is a dream. The heal pedal swivels nicely, and the buttons on the pad were very easily depressed for quick action. The foot pedal and the motor itself has the battery life indication on it. I ran the troller for two hours and it never budged the indicator light. This motor uses a low amount of power. I added in the quick disconnect plugs (also purchased from desertcart), everything super easy to connect and disconnect. The troller comes off easily from the quick disconnect and is very manageable to move by hand. Highly recommend this, especially if you're looking to do what I did. Any questions, please hit me up. Review: Seems to be a great buy - Placed the mount on midline bow of my 22ft pontoon. Very pleased with how I could fish and move along a bank with this motor. The remote works very well, and you do not have to look at it after a few hours using it. The recovery mechanism is a little awkward, but the lowering pedal works . Only real complaint is the foot pedal is huge, and so different from a regular push pull trolling motor that it will take a lot of getting used too. Quality of workmanship is as good as other trolling motors. ## Features - continue to test more than 700 hours/5,000 km on top speed in fresh and salt water - low noise level to 35db as whisper provides quiet when fishing - waterproof, wireless hand remote; 14.7 feet cable foot control/foot pedal; quick release bracket/quick release mount plate - instant "state of charge" reading, dual release pedals, aluminum shaft length 48 inches - more than 4,000 " haswing" videos on video sites ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01HB56NRA | | Brand | AQUOS | | Brand Name | AQUOS | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 136 Reviews | | Engine Type | Electric | | Engine type | Electric | | Fuel Type | Electric | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 17.8D x 152.4W x 30.5H centimetres | | Item Weight | 34 Pounds | | Item weight | 34 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Haswing | | Manufacturer Part Number | 50700-120 W FQ | | Material | Aluminium | | Material Type | Aluminium | | Maximum Horsepower | 0.8 Horsepower | | Mounting Type | Bow Mount | | Operation Mode | Electric | | Operation mode | Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | fishing, quiet activities | | UPC | 602766145393 742920713607 602766145386 | | Voltage | 12 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AQUOS - **Item weight:** 15.42 kg - **Colour:** White - **Material:** Aluminium - **Engine type:** Electric ## Images ![Haswing 12v 55lbs Electric Trolling Motor Bow Mounted Trolling Motor with Foot Control with Quick Release Bracket - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41blkmZ1F7L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Compatable with helmsman app?** A: Hello, this is Alice at your service。 No, this is normal Cayman B type trolling motor, can't compatible with helmsman app. Have a nice day. **Q: can these be used in salt water?** A: Hello, This is Alice to answer, the item can be used in saltwater and fresh water. I’ve been pretty happy with it. Pros: Has auto on from speeds 1 - 10 Having both foot pedal and remote are nice. Battery life has been really good. Setup was pretty easy. Cons: The unit hangs over the bow by design. There was no thought on the added fish finder cable so my cable hangs and cut in half after pinching during first use. I came up with something using a spring to pull away from that happening again. The foot peddle could be engineered better. It function but not great. Year follow up. This thing is the best you can buy for your money. Had it a year and it’s been great. I use the foot pedal when casting lures, and remote when finess fishing. Holds true in the wind. Auto troll is great when moving town the sides of the lake. ## Frequently Bought Together - AQUOS White Haswing 12V55LBS 48inch Electric Bow Mount Trolling Motor with Remote Control, Wired Foot Control, Quick Release Bracket for Inflatable Boat Bass Boat Freshwater Saltwater Use - Attwood 14365-6 Heavy-Duty Trolling Motor Connectors 2-Wire 8-Gauge 12V Male Plug - Newport Trolling Motor Smart Battery Box Power Center with USB and DC Ports --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/579841366-haswing-12v-55lbs-electric-trolling-motor-bow-mounted-trolling-motor](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/579841366-haswing-12v-55lbs-electric-trolling-motor-bow-mounted-trolling-motor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
