Their dual-surface design offers waffle grips for flat materials and multi-groove angles for cylindrical objects, ensuring versatile, damage-free clamping across woodworking, metalworking, and plastics. Compatible with various vises, these magnetic soft jaws combine durability and surface protection for professional-grade precision. ## Description S&F STEAD & FAST vise jaws ARE made with quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), soft enough to protect surfaces from damage yet hard enough to hold items in place. Vice jaw pads can grasp and hold in place wood, plastic, metal, threaded objects, tubing, or anything round, irregular, or flat. Vise jaws have a solid feel with strong rare earth magnets placed perfectly and holding really well. These modular designed magnetic vice pads can be used with any flat, round or irregular shape. Vice soft jaws 4.5 inch are essentially two sets of jaws in one: you may use the grooved faces for holding cylindrical and bar-stock items, or you may use the flat faces for holding large or flat items. The flat and grooved sides of these soft vise jaws are interchangeable, allowing you to grip any flat, round or irregular shaped objects safely and securely. Typical applications which benefit from using these padded vice protectors include DIY projects, arts and crafts, jewelry makers, gun smiths, golf clubs, fishing gear, engineering, toolmaking and carpentry. ## Features - 4.5 inch vise soft jaws for bench vise, made with Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), soft enough to protect surfaces from damage yet hard enough to hold items solidly in place - 10（7+3） strong rare earth magnets on each vise protector to attach vise pads securely to bench vise; no worries about pad getting knocked off while switching work pieces - 2 surfaces for the bench vise jaw pads to suit different materials: 1) waffle grip for wood, aluminum, copper and 2) multi-groove angle to hold cylindrical objects with diameter 2/5 1/8 1/7 1/12 2/3 inch vertically, horizontally or at 60° - Magnetic vice pads for clamping workpiece firmly without marring when cutting, sawing, drilling, welding, grinding and polishing - Vice soft jaws 4.5 inch are suitable for bench vises, drill press vises, clamps and clamp-on vises; use to grip wood, metal, plastics and tubing ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CCCPZ5D2 | | ASIN | B0CCCPZ5D2 | | Brand Name | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Color | Red and Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (393) | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (393) | | Date First Available | 16 October 2023 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060917980746 | | Included Components | Grooved pads*2, Holder*2, Waffle pads*2 | | Item Dimensions | 7.1 x 4.1 x 11.2 centimeters | | Item Type Name | vise jaws | | Item Weight | 11 Ounces | | Item model number | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Manufacturer | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Manufacturer | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Manufacturer Part Number | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | S&F STEAD & FAST | | Product Dimensions | 7.11 x 4.06 x 11.18 cm; 311.84 g | | Style Name | bench | | Unit Count | 4 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** S&F STEAD & FAST - **Colour:** Red and Black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 7.1 x 4.1 x 11.2 centimeters - **Material:** Plastic - **Style:** bench ## Images ![S&F Stead & Fast Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 Pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Wvh+y3jyL.jpg) ![S&F Stead & Fast Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 Pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714eEsTlJZL.jpg) ![S&F Stead & Fast Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 Pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/713xkpoxBnL.jpg) ![S&F Stead & Fast Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 Pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61MkV6a35PL.jpg) ![S&F Stead & Fast Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 Pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619uOcH7ncL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Item Package Quantity** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - S&F STEAD & FAST Soft Jaws for Bench Vise 4.5 inch, 2 pairs, Strongly Magnetic Vise Jaw Pads, TPU, Multi-Groove and Textured Inserts, for Clamping Woodworking Metal Plastics - Yost Vises LV-4 Homeowner's Vise | 4.5 Inch Jaw Width with a 3 Inch Jaw Opening Home Vise | Secure Grip with Swivel Base | Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/581305856-s-and-f-stead-and-fast-soft-jaws-for-bench](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/581305856-s-and-f-stead-and-fast-soft-jaws-for-bench) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
