I Will definitely purchase again. I was looking for a protein bar that met the following criteria: whey protein, no sugar alcohol or artificial sweeteners, and not too much sugar. This was surprisingly hard to find but these Promix bars fit the bill. The macro nutrition on these is great: 15g protein, only 5g sugar, 150 calories, and there is even 5g of fiber which is a nice bonus. The Ingredients list also just what I was looking for. No artificial/alternative sweeteners, no artificial flavoring or anything weird. Now on to the taste: I was pleasantly surprised by how good these were. After reading some of the reviews I was expecting something rather tasteless that I would have to choke down. But I found the texture quite enjoyable (sort of like a rice crispy treat) and the flavor is pleasant, if a bit bland. I think some of the reviewers may have slightly unrealistic expectations. As long as you don't come in expecting a candy bar I think you will be satisfied. Honestly the only downside for me is the price. If they were a bit more affordable I would buy these all the time Review: Like eating sawdust. - Very dry. Sawdust texture. Chocolate chip was not good.. Have to drink lots of water or milk to get the sawdust texture pieces completely out of mouth. One normal bite and a lot of it fell apart on to table. ## Features - A High-Protein Treat: ProMix Protein Puff Bars combine our Whey Protein Puffs and marshmallow for a tasty, rice Krispy-like snack with 15g of protein and just 5g of sugar — 40% less than the leading protein bar. It was pretty good. Is it as good as a real Rice Krispie treat? Of course not. Is it a surprisingly good snack with good macros? Yes it is. ## Frequently Bought Together - ProMix Nutrition Protein Puff Bars - Variety Pack - Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Blueberry - Marshmallow Crispy Treat - High Protein & Low Calorie - 12 Bars - David High Protein Bars No Sugar - Sugar Free Protein Bars, Low Carb, Gluten Free - 28g of Protein, 150 Calories - David Bar On-The-Go Snack - Variety Pack (All Flavors), Pack of 6 - Barebells Protein Bars Variety Pack - 12 Count, 1.9oz Bars - Protein Snacks with 20g of High Protein - Chocolate Protein Bar with 1g of Total Sugars - Perfect on The Go Protein Snack & Breakfast Bars --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/581376442-protein-puff-bars-variety-pack-12-bars](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/581376442-protein-puff-bars-variety-pack-12-bars) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
