According to the label at the suggested serving size of two gummies per day provides adults with 40% (fourty percent) of the recommended daily values for Magnesium based on a 2000 calorie per day diet. **Q: Slow release?** A: The bottle does not say they are slow release. They taste good and no medicine chemical flavor. I had them recommended by a Chiropractor for calming down before bed and from a Urologist for prevention of kidney stones. **Q: Is it magnesium chloride?** A: no, Magnesium Citrate and Oxide, says nothing about chloride. But, no gluten, fructose, corn syrup of non-healthy dyes. They are so delicious I probably eat too many of them!!
