Why lose a lot of space in your main pack when you can stow it with the boots? This bag has a separate side entry for the boots (much easier to use than my old ski boot bag) and a top loading access to the rest of this cavernous bag. The separate front pocket seems superflous, but suits the smaller items you may want to stuff in.
