This is an expensive item and sometimes you can't tell what you'll get by shopping online. I gave a sigh of relief when we opened the box. The packaging was perfect, not a single dent or scrape. The white board was not flimsy and it was very well constructed. The shelf to hold markers and eraser is a little smaller than I would have liked, but it's solid (most white boards have flimsy eraser holders and this one is really strong). The surface of the white board is perfect. It's magnetic and I can write on it easily and it erases easily, too. Do not fret about buying this.
