A: The prongs are standard length, but once they're plugged in, the plug is only about a quarter inch out from the receptacle surface...

**Q: How many watts is the usb-c? (newer iphones need at least 20 watts)**
A: I believe the specification from the manufacturer is 50 Watts per USB output.  I remember it being more then enough for my Phone and large Tablets.  Everything I have plugged into it charges as fast as I would expect.  Any limitations in charging speed are from each individual device itself.

Love this extension cord/block. It has 8 standard outlets, 3 USB outlets, and one usb-c outlet. The part that plugs into the wall is super thin, so my sofa can still sit flush with the wall. The multiple outlets allows the whole family to charge their devices while keeping them close when sitting on the sofa playing video games, watching a movie, etc. The standard outlets are also useful for plugging in a heating pad, foot bath, testing Christmas lights, you name it. Decent cord length too; can be used at either end of the sofa. Incredibly useful.

I have this on my nightstand and have several things plugged into it. I like the power switch on it because every now and then I have to disconnect my tv and let it reboot for some reason and I have a bad back so I don’t have to reach down to unplug the tv. all I have to do is turn the power switch off and turn it back on. I like the USB and c ports it actually doesn’t take up much space on the night stand and the flat plug makes it much better so the night stand is closer to the wall. I would definitely recommend this.
