Review: Had some doubts, but it works. - I have about 150 rounds of 6.5-06 ammo that had been reloaded with questionable powder amounts. I started looking for a method to remove the bullet and fix the issue. I saw this inertia device on sale for a very reasonable price. I thought that if it didn't work I could then spend a lot more on a collet style tool. Bottom line, this device worked like a charm. I did take one reviewer's advice and placed a thin layer of corrugated material, like a cereal box, on my concrete shop floor as a surface to hit. I started out kind of gingerly just to test the ruggedness of the tool but quickly determined that you must use very firm blows and keep the striking face as flat as possible. Most bullets came out after 8-12 blows. I had some (10-12) old military 30-06 brass from WWII. That stuff is tough, so I saved it till the last figuring I didn't want to destroy the tool too quickly. It took 20-30 blows for those cartridges. All done and the tool is fine no noticeable damage, save a little bit of wear marking on the striking face. I'm very happy with the results.

**Q: Has anyone tried this tool on .50 rounds?**
A: If you're talking about 50bmg they won't fit for sure. The biggest round I've done if 45/70. I've found the heavier the bullet the easier it comes out. .233 takes much more effort than 308.

**Q: Purchased this may 9, 2018.  used very little.  today it shattered in use.  may have been a defect in manufacture.  is there any warranty?**
A: Don't know for sure but I would return it to Amazon they are great for allowing returns.

**Q: Is the hammer tip really STRONT as advertised?**
A: The puller is decent but not super strong. I’d recommend using a 2 x 4 as a striking surface and not any steel table or concrete or you’ll damage the hammer relatively quickly. And try to use the lightest amount of striking power as possible to pull the projectile.

**Q: Does this work for .30-06 and .38 special?**
A: Yes, works great! I've used it on .380, .38, 9mm, 45LC, 5.56, and 30-06.

Works well and is very durable but I hope you can swing a hammer. So far I've broke down 12 30-06 rounds. Took a good bit longer than I expected and I split my 2x4 in half and continued with each piece. As I said it works but you better be able to swing a hammer.
