Instead it has a ready-to-melt, slightly fudgy texture which I personally find compelling as it gently dissolves away on the tongue into unctuously semiliquid aromatics. It's extremely chocolatey, with the slightly herbaceous, almost-but-not-quite fermenty undertones of raw chocolate rather than a straight-up cocoa flavour.That said, the flavourings compete with the chocolate for attention, and are very very good: dense but complex, natural-tasting, and totally moreish. We had the rose, the orange, and the mint, and while I don't usually go for mint chocolate this version is excellent and I ate the lot in an embarrassingly short space of time. The orange is just luscious. The rose, if you like proper rose essence as in real Turkish delight (not the gloopy rubbery too-sugary kind), is absolutely amazing – my favourite, and not easy to find anywhere else.It's expensive, and the most expensive way to buy it (from bitter experience) is to buy a whole box which will last you three months so you can benefit from the bulk savings, and then eat the box in days so that you have none left and have saved nothing at all. But although it is expensive, it is good value.I'd love to see a green-pepper bar of this, in case anyone is reading. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best raw chocolate *by C***N on 3 September 2018* I love how Conscious Chocolate refuse to take the agave syrup out. That's why the chocolate is so amazing and I won't buy anything else... Coconut sugar that other brands switched to is grainy and weird.
