Review: Great toy - Loved it while it lasted Review: Very disappointed!!! - I was disappointed, as was my grandson, that the toy is basically just a robot, not a transformer! It has transformer right in the title, but it doesn’t transform into a truck like you would think it would. So for that reason I was definitely disappointed, especially for the price that you pay. I also bought the Bumblebee one and it was the same thing, didn’t transform! ## Features - MOVING & ROLLING ACTION: Optimus Prime can walk forward, backwad, left, right - plus roll forward and backward. - LIGHTS & SOUNDS: Optimus Prime lights up and makes sounds from Transformers. - SPINNING FEATURE: Watch Optimus Prime spin around side to side with moveable arms. - LICENSED PRODUCT: Based on the popular Transformers Rescue Bots Academy series. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CGJMZZZ7 | | Additional Features | Remote Control | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Animal Theme | Robot | | Best Sellers Rank | #499,527 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #687 in Remote- & App-Controlled Robots #5,735 in Kids' Electronics | | Brand Name | Jam'n | | Collection Name | Transformers Rescue Bots Academy | | Color | Purple | | Customer Package Type | FFP | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 15 Reviews | | Included Components | 1 Robot, 1 Controller | | Item Dimensions | 12.8 x 6.1 x 14.5 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 9"L x 2"W x 6"H | | Item Type Name | rc vehicle | | Manufacturer | Jam'n | | Manufacturer Part Number | 86042j | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 4 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: 12" RC Robot - Optimus Prime | | Model Number | 86042j | | Number of Batteries | 4 AA batteries required. | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Outer Material | Plastic | | Play Activity Location | Floor | | Power Source | battery | | Set Name | Transformers Rescue Bots Academy | | Size | 12 inches | | Style | Modern | | Supported Battery Types | AA and 9-Volt | | Theme | Cartoon | | Toy Figure Type | Action Figure | | UPC | 887030860428 | | character | Transformers | ## Images ![Jam'n Hasbro: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: Optimus Prime RC Robot - 12" Walking Transformer, Lights & Sounds, Radio Controlled, Full Function, 2.4 GHz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VCYX+AEKL.jpg) ![Jam'n Hasbro: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: Optimus Prime RC Robot - 12" Walking Transformer, Lights & Sounds, Radio Controlled, Full Function, 2.4 GHz - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JIk0cqEtL.jpg) ![Jam'n Hasbro: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: Optimus Prime RC Robot - 12" Walking Transformer, Lights & Sounds, Radio Controlled, Full Function, 2.4 GHz - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YpCsp+OnL.jpg) ![Jam'n Hasbro: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: Optimus Prime RC Robot - 12" Walking Transformer, Lights & Sounds, Radio Controlled, Full Function, 2.4 GHz - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mWymeDajL.jpg) ![Jam'n Hasbro: Transformers Rescue Bots Academy: Optimus Prime RC Robot - 12" Walking Transformer, Lights & Sounds, Radio Controlled, Full Function, 2.4 GHz - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Mt4IEO-GL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great toy *by H***Z on November 20, 2025* Loved it while it lasted ### ⭐ Very disappointed!!! *by J***K on December 27, 2025* I was disappointed, as was my grandson, that the toy is basically just a robot, not a transformer!
