We use several Ooma devices, including the black HD2, but this one is as near to useless as you can get.- The screen is too dark to be readable under almost any circumstances- Not reliable, would often fail to ring: . several of these white HD2 handsets were paired to the same Telo device, yet only some rang when a call came in. We changed ring tones, ring volume, handset location -- it made no difference, you just couldn't trust that they would work when needed.So far, the only good thing we can say about it is that the batteries are usable in other devices. The phones all went into the trash. We did not even donate them, as we normally would-- it would feel like we were passing on a curse. ### ⭐ I bought 3 No battery life! *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2019* I was excited to replace 3 of my Black Ooma Phone. I have had this service over 10 years. My 3 new phones arrived. I plug them in for 24 hours. Followed the step by step instructions. My screen is faded and battery life 0%, 50% and 0%.I called Ooma and talked to them. I plugged all 3 into other plugs in our home. Still no battery life change. I will be retuning all 3. It would have been a great deal. But not worth the headache! Ooma site here I come! ### ⭐ Lousy display, poor sound quality, flaky controls *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2020* What else, can I say? The LCD display of the phones started out just readable enough when I first got them, even with the brightness set to High (the Low setting makes them virtually unusable), but now that I've had them a couple of months you can't view the screens unless the room is completely dark. The audio is the same - max volume is just legible, what is the point in being able to reduce the audio level from there? Speakerphone, doesn't help much either - it's only slightly louder than what comes out the earpiece. Rediculous! And the phone frequently gets in a mode where it will not answer a call - very frustrating when the phone is ringing so you press the green answer button and it just keeps ringing. Have had several calls that dropped in the middle of conversation when both the Ooma telo base and WiFi base station are less than 10 feet away from the handset, and all in the same room. Also, some of the phones have stopped ringing when a call comes in - I can hear one of the phones upstairs ring and one in the bedroom, but the other two do nothing. They worked a couple of months ago, but no more.In summary, these phones are great deal if you get a lot of telemarketer calls, since you either won't hear the phone ring, or if you do, you won't have to listen to him.
