I remember working on that old style cube so much that my wrists would hurt. I saw this cube on Prime Day and I figured "What the heck". What a difference from the original- smooth effortless turning, adjustable tension and a solid feel to it. I was able to get back to solving the cube without much effort- just trying to remember some of the old patterns that I used, and then finding better ones online. My buddy and his son are doing the same thing- learning to solve the cube - and when they felt this one they both remarked about how they needed to get their own 55Cube. I ordered this for my son because he is crazy over Speed Cubes and wanted one of his own. This one seemed like a decent choice, but after he received it, it lasted less than a day before it broke.Yeah, one of the small cubes popped off the thing and cannot be reattached. I mean, really, less than 24 hours?
