Another complaint, which is much more serious, is that I ordered the dark wood color, but it is not real, it is a stain. The stain comes off, and it is probably not healthy to cut your food on this product because the stain get in to your food and you eat it. I would not buy it again. ### ⭐ NOT an Ebony Cutting Board *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2018* This cutting board claims to be made of Ebony but it is not, in fact. That is inaccurate. It is made completely of Sapele. I have included pictures so that you can see the difference between the pieces of Ebony wood that I have laid on top of the cutting board, and the Sapele cutting board itself. Clearly not Ebony. I'm returning it and going looking for a real Ebony cutting board. ### ⭐ Horrible Product *by C***I on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2019* When I took it out of the box and placed it on my counter I noticed it was very wobbly, The cutting board was warped.Very disappointed!!!!!! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/58984273-large-and-thick-ebony-wood-cutting-boards-for-kitchen-by](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/58984273-large-and-thick-ebony-wood-cutting-boards-for-kitchen-by) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
