That was not a problem.I use a number of older X-10 relays to control landscape lights and pumps around the property. Upgrading to Insteon would be a significant issue as the relays are larger than the older ones so I'd have to refit new electrical boxes, etc.So far, this unit has be easy to work with. As I want the pumps to run differently under different conditions, I've been able to use the backup utility to save a group of settings, then pull in a different set for a different situation. (For example, I have the pumps run the same for Spring, Fall and most of the Winter. A special setting for freezing weather. Also a special setting during excessive heat.) Stills works great, but I wanted to add some new Insteon devices.ISY and Universal Devices have great support and a tradition of regular updates. A niche product, but the best on the market in my opinion. I consider it a bargain for what it does and the customer service and support that comes with it. Note that support and service are not necessary because product is in any way malfunctioning. Rather, because it is a technical product that can be customized in infinite ways, the support simply enhances the functionality of the automation the ISY brings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Needs more updating in my view *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2014* I replaced the 99i pro with the new 994i pro, because the 99i was no longer supported. There is a difference in that the 994i requires a device to be part of a scene or as a responder in order for the program cycles will sample the status of a device.
