It looks identical and worked out of the box without having to go through any setup steps. Based on that I might have given 5 stars. But after using this for a few weeks, I found that you have to press the buttons very hard to get it to work and you also need to be directly in front of the TV. If you are off to the side even by 45 degrees, the TV will not recognize the remote control input. So, I’m still using it while trying to find another one that will work better. If you’re in a bind like I was - remote damaged beyond repair and no backup remote - this is an acceptable solution.
