Only tips to give are to use it on a drainboard, as it will have runoff and rinse it upside down to get all the bits out. Although you may need to practice using the different settings, it’s a breeze to use the mandolin, once you master the settings. I use it mainly for fries; it makes quick and easy work of cutting uniform fries. The catch basin is great, but the mandolin occasionally kicks out a few pieces of food that land outside of the basin. Cleaning is quick and easy, especially with the included brush.
