## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the maximum depth this case can be submerged, and is it safe for snorkeling or diving?**
A: The case is IPX8 rated, meaning it is submersible to 30ft/10m for continuous use. It is perfect for snorkeling and swimming, though it is not designed for deep-sea scuba diving where pressure exceeds its rated limits.

**Q: Why is the case black and opaque rather than clear like other models, and does this affect its function?**
A: The opaque black finish is a security feature designed to hide valuables like cash, cards, and passports from view. While you cannot see through it, it remains 100% waterproof and protects items from UV sun damage.

**Q: Will the included belt fit larger waist sizes, and is it comfortable to wear directly against the skin?**
A: Yes, the adjustable belt extends up to 48 inches (121 cm) and is made from soft, durable webbing. The TPU material of the case is flexible and smooth, making it comfortable for all-day wear during hiking or at the beach.

**Q: Does this case only protect against water, or will it also keep out fine sand and dust during a desert hike?**
A: The Aquaclip seal is airtight, making it completely "dust-proof." It provides an impenetrable barrier against fine sand, grit, and even corrosive salt spray, making it as useful in the desert or on a beach as it is in the water.

**Q: If I drop the case into deep water with heavy keys and a phone inside, will it sink or stay on the surface?**
A: Most gear floats because the case traps air when sealed. However, buoyancy depends on the total weight of your items. We strongly recommend a "sink test" at home before your trip to ensure your specific contents won't exceed the air's lift.
