Review: The best for wild onions! - I have been gardening for 30+ years in the Georgia clay, and this is the best tool I have ever used to removing wild onions. Wait for the soil to be most, dig this sucker in, and voila! Onions are history, root and all. I will never be without it. PS All Wolfgarten garden tools are pretty awesome. Review: Wolf-Garten weed extractor - All the Wolf-Garten products are amazing- I love that I can take each piece and add to my pole or wand and not have too many tools in garage. This is a bit harder to work though. You push in ground- then make twisting motion to be able to get the weed to break and come up. It is a bit bulky so its harder to get in between the flowers and be able to remove the dandelion. I still do like it though- I just think it will take me a bit longer to figure it out ## Features - Easily cores and removes deep rooted weeds - Works with all WOLF-Garten Interlocken garden handles (handle sold separately) - Made of 3-layer coated steel - Effortless weeding with the twist of the wrist - Made in Germany ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0009I9Z3G | | Best Sellers Rank | #868,463 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #1,968 in Manual Weeders | | Brand | WOLF Garten | | Brand Name | WOLF Garten | | Coverage | Selective: Dandelions, Thistles | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 136 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04009269255301 | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Weight | 0.34 kg | | Manufacturer | WOLF-Garten | | Model Number | IWM | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | IWM | | UPC | 852741001231 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** WOLF Garten - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 04009269255301 - **Item Form:** Powder - **Item Weight:** 0.34 Kilograms - **UPC:** 852741001231 ## Images ![WOLF-Garten Thistle and Dandelion Extractor Tool Head - IWM - 2553000 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51R1AY3Xb1L.jpg) ![WOLF-Garten Thistle and Dandelion Extractor Tool Head - IWM - 2553000 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ymGtHZwQL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best for wild onions! *by C***N on March 14, 2020* I have been gardening for 30+ years in the Georgia clay, and this is the best tool I have ever used to removing wild onions. Wait for the soil to be most, dig this sucker in, and voila! Onions are history, root and all. I will never be without it. PS All Wolfgarten garden tools are pretty awesome. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wolf-Garten weed extractor *by M***E on July 17, 2016* All the Wolf-Garten products are amazing- I love that I can take each piece and add to my pole or wand and not have too many tools in garage. This is a bit harder to work though. You push in ground- then make twisting motion to be able to get the weed to break and come up. It is a bit bulky so its harder to get in between the flowers and be able to remove the dandelion. I still do like it though- I just think it will take me a bit longer to figure it out ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as Designed *by F***R on July 2, 2019* I use the mid-size handle with the hand hole so as to twist which allows me to extract the weed. I place this next to the weed shaft then press straight down and give a twist and then pull up with the weed. Works quite well with a bit moist ground. Don’t use this like a shovel to dig or with a great angle and bend it sideways. Straight down and twist works the best. I initially used the straight handle but could not get the twist I needed. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59318300-wolf-garten-thistle-and-dandelion-extractor-tool-head-iwm-2553000](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59318300-wolf-garten-thistle-and-dandelion-extractor-tool-head-iwm-2553000) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
