At this price I was suspicious, but, I was pleasantly surprised upon receipt. It is as advertised. The assembly is polished and sturdy enough. It took minutes to fit and works perfectly well. There are a few minor manufacturing marks, but nothing that detracts. Word of advice - as with all solid brass fixtures and fittings, if you're using this outdoors, coat with clear sealer after fitting to resist the inevitable onset of tarnish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good purchase *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 December 2024* My Dad is very pleased with this for his conservatory ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent! But no screws! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 October 2019* Great product, feels solid and heavy. Packaging also sturdy.Hook fits into hole perfectly snugly. But no screws! At least tell us what size to order separately. ## Frequently Bought Together - Merriway BH02550 Solid Brass Silent Cabin Door Hook and Eye Catch, 150mm (6 inch) - TERF® 75mm Heavy Duty Polished Brass Cabin Door Hook and Eye Lock 75mm (3 inch) Cabinet Latch including Fixing Screw For Door Gate Window Closet Shed Latch - Pack of 1 - Brass Cabin Hook 4 Inch Brass Cabin Hook & Eye Silent Catch Door Latch Holder with Screws Silent Cabin Hook for Shed Gate Catch Garden Gate Latch Patio Doors in Various Finishes Pack of 1. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59416935-merriway-bh02550-solid-brass-silent-cabin-door-hook-and-eye](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59416935-merriway-bh02550-solid-brass-silent-cabin-door-hook-and-eye) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
