Review: Very Nice Feature Set - Before this micrometer, I had a better known brand, that supplies to several of the other sellers here on desertcart. That mike died far too early, on the first battery change. I went searching for a different digital micrometer and stumbled across this one. I love the feature set but honestly use it the most in the "just plain digital micrometer mode", not using any of the special feature buttons it has. Turns on when I move the screw, turns off within a few minutes of not being used. Gives me a reading I trust. That's all I want. I don't a primary or secondary standard, to test for accuracy, but I have no information that would lead me to doubt them. The old analog scale method for reading a micrometer is there and the digital readout enhances it. They use the same battery as my digital calipers, and with three sets of those, I keep batteries on hand. That's another point where these are better than the "Brand S" micrometer I had that failed on the first battery change. I haven't had these long enough to run down the battery, so I can't say anything about durability other than they seem to be well-made, accurate and reliable.

Isn’t that what you want when you buy something accuracy is the name of the game and this is the product you should have I’ve been into model over roadie for 57 years this is the best micrometer I’ve ever used it can measure in millimeters and I can measure in standard SAE trust me. You won’t be sorry.

Before this micrometer, I had a better known brand, that supplies to several of the other sellers here on Amazon. That mike died far too early, on the first battery change. I went searching for a different digital micrometer and stumbled across this one. I love the feature set but honestly use it the most in the "just plain digital micrometer mode", not using any of the special feature buttons it has. Turns on when I move the screw, turns off within a few minutes of not being used. Gives me a reading I trust. That's all I want.
