Pins 1 and 2 are the same color, pin 3 is different. If you want the light to stay on all the time switch the power and load wires. Switch on position is toward pin #3. **Q: What type of electrical connectors does this require?** A: It takes the small flat slide on type connectors. I use these switches on my control panel to replace the existing ones that had gone bad. **Q: What size hole does this switch fit into?** A: For us "Old School trained" the size mentioned in the manufactures description converts to 9/16" x 1-1/8". I don't know why they do not list the size this way.
