Makes it really easy to dye your candle without adding too much liquid. It lasting a very long time if you make candles regularly 3: How to increase the number of shades? The dye is easily crushed into small pieces, which allows you to mix it with other dyes, thus creating a variety of colors and shades. 4: How to calculate the required amount of dye Dosage depends on the fat content, hardness, and purity of candle mass. More dye is required for wax candles. To dye the entire base of paraffin weighing 1 lb, only 0.02-0.06 oz of dye is sufficient. For wax weighing the same, you need to add 0.03-0.08 oz. Dyeing of candles can be executed in two ways: Entire dyeing. The dye is added to the paraffin mixture of the melted base, is mixed thoroughly until full solidification, and then poured into a mold Partial dyeing. Doesn't even color the wax when you use the whole packet in less then a pound of wax..waste of money!!!! ### ⭐ One Star *by J***E on April 6, 2018* I'm very disappointed in this product. ### ⭐ This was probably the worst candle dye I have ever used *by J***L on March 24, 2018* This was probably the worst candle dye I have ever used. Firstly none of the bags were labeled so I had no idea what color I was using. Secondly, it took an entire sample bag to barely color 12 oz of wax. It was so light it was almost clear when I tested on a paper towel. The wax had to be immensely hot for it to dissolve properly. I have never used something this terrible. I rarely ever leave reviews but I felt this was so terrible that something needed to be said. I didn't expect this to be top of the line quality-- but I did expect the bags to be labeled and for it to actually color the wax! You need to be ashamed selling this garbage and taking peoples money. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59504064-20-dye-colors-candle-wax-dye-candle-dye-chips-making](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/59504064-20-dye-colors-candle-wax-dye-candle-dye-chips-making) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
