Never noticed it once applied. Applied some a week ago and there was no smell next day. **Q: Is it easy to spread by hand or better to use a spreader?** A: It's easy enough to spread by hand if you have a smallish lawn but you have to dose 100grams per square meter so can be hard to judge the area, but you can't overdose. if you have a large lawn and a spreader available to you then it will apply it more evenly and would be quicker Note if using hands it recommends using gloves.. **Q: When is the best time to use it?** A: April or May, when the lawn is dry. Then water in if no rain falls after 24 hours. The digestion of the moss is a slow process so do not expect immediate results. The moss will slowly get digested and will disappear over time. **Q: how accurate do you have to be?** A: I haven’t got a spreader so I used a small yoghurt pot that held the recommended amount per square metre. I measured the lawn to the total size and then just did it by eye.
