We tried a kit that included many different sizes plus shrink wrap tape, but...with that set -- the 6 gauge connector fit 6 gauge too loose and pulled right off and the next smaller connector that some people suggested trying - were hard to stuff the 6 gauge into and pulled off without much effort. These fit the wire well so when crimped they would not pull apart. A combination of 1). these fit the wire well before crimping and 2). these seemed to be thicker so they were better able to hold the wire so you could not pull it apart.
