Fully adjustable and a really nice sturdy surface to work on. I normally draw with a fairly steep angle but if I’m laying down a layer of charcoal dust or graphite, I fold it flat in a blink, easy peasy. It’s also great for holding my phone arms and ring lights I use for recording and magnifying work. I will say that it’s pretty heavy so it’s probably best left in place, and I set up a tray next to it for the mediums I’m working with because there isn’t a pencil tray. Before I retired, I had a large drawing board/ table in my work office but there is no room for it in my home. Drawing on the kitchen table has been a pain. I found this drawing board on line and I wish I had gotten one sooner. It’s great! I can set it on my kitchen table, my desk or on my work bench. When I’m not using it I just fold it up and put it somewhere out of the way. I took drafting in collage about 50 years ago so know how to use the slide and triangles. I now enjoy designing as much as I enjoy applying my designs to my projects.
