Astro Tools has designed an all-new pinless universal extension socket set that is unlike anything else on the market. This Metric 78354 10-piece 3/8" Drive Pinless Universal Torque-Saver Impact Extension Socket Set has it all. 9-inch-long impact extensions with pinless universal socket ends in a compact, sturdy case with no skipped sizes, 10 to 19mm and every size in between. This forged Cro-Mo set also features something new that we're calling our "Torque Saver" design. By beefing up the pinless joint, even on smaller sizes, and increasing the shaft size, torque is delivered down the length of the tool in a more effective way than even the most expensive options on the market. Resulting in 30% more torque delivered to fasteners from your impact wrench when used at max angle and 20% more when used straight compared to other equal-length universal extension sockets, all with 360° of freedom. Astro's "anti-floppy" design has been popular among the pros and ensures that after heavy usage, pointing the extension at a bolt head will remain true instead of pointing at the ground.

This is equivalent in price as one swivel extension from the trucks that sells tools. Came in a good quality and durable case and had good amount of grease on the sockets to prevent rust as with most sockets. Fits in all 3/8 impact drives and ratchets. As for the functionality, it does not come out easily or have difficulty putting it in. It’s really well made and holds the sockets in place. Just finished a job at my house to replace lower control arms, struts, inner and outer tie rods, and a bunch of other things. If the sockets held its grip for suspension work, then it has no issues with under hood engine work. I’m surprised that these are so cheap but the quality is so high. I really put these sockets to use to break some suspension bolts and nuts. The numbers on the sockets are large and looks good, easy to read. This is a great purchase and a great buy! The sockets really held its shape after very heavy use, I’m really surprised! Great product!
Review: How is nobody talking about these yet?! - This is a GREAT set and yet another home run from astro!! These things are a full 10 piece, no skip set, with a nice blow molded case as well. Matco has a this EXACT SAME set that is split into 2 separate sets, and the complete set from matco retails for over $600!!! Yes, to get the full 10-19 mm set from matco, your looking at about $615 plus tax, but for this entire set, it is only $113!! How have these things not made a youtube debut yet?? This is a great set, at an even better price!! These type of tools are a luxury, and are not necessarily something you have to have in your toolbox, but at $113 for the set, you don't have to break the bank to have these in your aresenal!! I am just in awe over this set, and how cheap they are compared to matco! Astro does it yet again!! ****UPDATE**** These things have been taking an absolute beating. I've literally taken these things up through there and they keep chugging. I've even attached my 1/2 impact gun with an adapter to these things for certain stubborn fasteners, and they eat it up like it's nothing. Astro now has a 1/2" version with sizes from 13mm-24mm available!! Part number #78254

Saw these and it was a fraction of the price for a well known set. This is equivalent in price as one swivel extension from the trucks that sells tools.
