In our house, we have a handful of humidifiers and vaporizers that plug away through the winter months. Last year I got one similar to this one but larger for my daughter's room. When I needed another one for my son's room, I bought the Purasense one due to the excellent reviews. I am glad I did. When it arrived I thought it must be broken down into multiple parts for shipping since the box was much smaller than I anticipated. I was surprised to see that it was actually that small when I opened it up. I'm not sure what liter capacity the one my daughter has would be, but it's got be be double this size. So needless to say, I was skeptical that this one would last through the night. We filled it up the first night and let it run in my son's bedroom overnight. When I first started it up, the mist was barely coming out. It was so light that I actually had to keep moving to look at it from different angles to see if I could see it. I thought it was going to be going back to the seller the next day. After a couple hours I went in to check on it while my son was sleeping. Happily, the humidifier was now pumping out a nice mist, much closer to what our other model puts out. When I went in his room in the morning, it was off due to the auto-shut-off but there was even some water left in the tank. I only had the dial turned to almost 3/4 of the way up and it didn't run through all of the tank before shutting off (after 7 hours I think).The LED light feature is what my kids love about these things. The first setting if a gradual rotation through the various colors which is very relaxing if you just lay and watch it. Or you can push the button to find your favorite color and leave it on there for the entire night. We have had this in my son's room for about a week now and there isn't a night that goes by that he doesn't ask me to refill it and turn the light on.This humidifier is so whisper quiet that you won't even know it's on unless you have the light turned on. I have a much older humidifier that we use when the kids have colds with Vicks in it that makes all kinds of noise and you can hear it from down the hall. But this little one is silent and effective.Don't be fooled by the small size - it works really well, takes up minimal space on the night stand and doubles as a night light. I highly recommend this humidifier based on our experience with it.

I have been using an outdated humidifier for as long as I can remember, where it's basically a giant tub where you pour in water from the top and add any essential oils within the small opening. Although this humidifier did it's job, my biggest issue is the mess that it would create when filling and removing water, which became a hassle to use on a weekly basis.I was looking for something more compact and practical for my household, so I decided to give this a go. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this unit and instantly threw out my old humidifier.Using this device is fairly simple. It holds up to 1.3 liters of water and there is no mess involved! Adding and removing water is very easy, since it is small enough to fit under the nozzle of my sink and there has been no signs of leakage. Close to the bottom of the unit, there is a small section which is removable, and inside you should find a small area where you can add any essential oils you please. I personally refrain from adding the oils to the water directly, as it might damage the unit.In all, I am very pleased with my purchase as it is a huge upgrade from my older unit and hopefully it will last me just as long!

When I got the box delivered, I was a little surprised by the size. From the descriptions I thought this humidifier would cover more than one room, but this is a small humidifier that is best for one room. That is the only surprise that I've had.The humidifier does everything it says it does. It is whisper quiet - to the point I forgot about it and knocked it over. It was no problem to fill with water, and it literally took about two minutes to set up for the first time. You pretty much put water in it and it's ready to go. The changing color lights is a nice feature for entertainment value, especially for my children. It works well spraying a little water into the air on the low levels and a pretty good mist on the higher settings. I noticed a difference immediately with my congestion after 2 days of use.I plan to use this in the office room I work in. I love that it does not distract me at all with sound while I'm working- my guinea pig is noisier. I have not had it long enough to know if there is going to be an issue with cleaning it, but I don't anticipate any issues as long as we don't let it go too long between cleanings.
