However, with a high grade of 'regular' steel. these sockets are HARD CHROME PLATED which most corrosion tests and wear or abrasion tests will outperform stainless steel. Even the US Navy designates 'Stainless' as 'Corrosion Resistant' steel.. it can rust under hard conditions. Hard Chrome if done properly.. not flash applied just to say it's hard chrome... will hold up under ANY NORMAL use..
