I have a lot of photos of places where something has just been. The manual says 1 second but the seller says this can't be done. Consequently the camera is very good at taking pictures of places where something has just been!The manual states that the delay can be reduced to 1 second but the supplier has confirmed that this is misleading.Picture quality is mediocre and is not nearly as good as the camera on my mobile phone. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Prostalk 5mb trail camara *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 May 2011* I would not recommend the Prostalk 5 mb Trail Camera as its overall performance is very poor.1. The PIR sensor is nothing like as sensitive as claimed - generally about 6 metres maximum, and only large animals like muntjac and badgers will trigger it.2. The response time to take a photograph seems slower than claimed, so that there is often nothing within the frame when the picture is taken.3. In night vision mode, the shutter speed is so slow that most animals appear badly blurred if they haven't already passed out of the frame.4. In night vision mode anything within about 4 metres of the camera is over-exposed i.e. most things that the PIR sensor can detect.5. All photographs in night vision mode have a dark shadow round the left hand side (a kind of half-halo effect). i.e. there is never a similar halo on the right hand side. The supplier (Handycam.com) did not think this was indicative of a faulty camera when I queried this.6. Although daylight photographs are generally much better, the camera cannot focus on objects within about 2/3 of a metre. So all my attempts at close-up photographs of bird feeders give blurred pictures.If I can ever afford to buy another camera with such a hefty price tag, I'll definitely try another brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Caught out *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 October 2013* We though we had some one taking a short cut up the side of our house and kept opening our gate. So we fitted the trail camera to a post. When I viewed the card I found that we had a big black cat had been jumping over the gate .
