I like a medium firmness in a pillow. I would not call this a medium firm pillow, but I like the fluffiness of this pillow. I can scrunch this pillow to the height I need. It is also machine washable, I learned as the result of a pet mishap. And, it fluffs back up like new in the dryer on low setting. I have purchased no telling how many pillows. This one is not my unicorn, but it is very good.
