Less than a half inch deck very simple. **Q: What is the weight with and without the grilling grate?** A: I’m not sure what the exact weight is but this grill is amazing. It’s super light and compact. Perfect to throw in your backpack. **Q: $63 for a sterno stove? Am I missing something here?** A: you can burn wood, so you don't need to carry the extra weight backpacking like sterno. **Q: What are the dimensions of the top of the stove, the actual cooking area?** A: The top is smaller than the main area where your fire will be. Top is maybe one half inch to inch and the base probably inch and a half to2 inches. Great for stews, small game butchered or boiling water. I hope this helps. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/60082719-12-survivors-off-grid-survival-stove-silver-small](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/60082719-12-survivors-off-grid-survival-stove-silver-small) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
