Made in the UK, these rustproof, heavy-duty fasteners ensure a permanent hold, making them perfect for belts, bags, and more. ## Description Made in the UK Solid copper saddlers or hose rivets with washers Size 10 gauge x 1/2 inch 3.3mm shaft x 13mm long with a 9mm head and washer Setting tool is also made in the UK Rustproof, heavy-duty permanent fastening How to Set a Rivet Punch holes slightly larger than the rivet being set. Place rivet, post up, through both holes in the leather. Place washer on the rivet. Use the rivet setting tool's straight hole to drive the washer down tight against the material. Cut the rivet off close to the washer with nippers (wire cutters work fine for this). Do not cut off flush with the washer, but leave about 1/16 of an inch above the burr. Place the concave recess of the setter on the washer. Hold perpendicular and strike the tool forcefully, turning to the left then right as you strike. This spreads the end of the rivet over the washer, simultaneously rounding its end. A few extra blows from the soft faced mallet can be used to flatten the rivet end a bit if desired Review: Great product, would buy again. - Fast delivery, but poorly packaged, the rivets and washers were loose in the box and if the box split it would have been empty. The rivets were good quality and easy to use with only 3 or 4 failures but as this was my first experience using them it's to be expected. I found that placing side cutting pliers on the washer when cutting the post left the perfect amount for rounding over(this may vary depending on your pliers). Also the price is quite low considering the correct tool that you need is included . If needed I would definitely buy again. Review: No sizing with this product - Did the job but was smaller than expected ## Features - Made in the UK - Used for all types of leather crafts Belts Bags - Rustproof, heavy-duty permanent fastening ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Manufacturer | R S Trade Supplies | | Batteries included? | No | | Batteries Required? | No | ## Images ![50 Copper saddlers Rivets & Setting Tool 10 Gauge x 1/2 & washers for Leather,Belt. Top Quality! *by C***E on 31 October 2019* Bought for leatherwork and haven't failed me. Much cheaper than anywhere else and I will be buying more when I need them. Make sure you get the better quality too though, the cheaper one isn't great. Would recommend and will buy from these again :) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/60159822-50-copper-saddlers-rivets-and-setting-tool-10-gauge-x](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/60159822-50-copper-saddlers-rivets-and-setting-tool-10-gauge-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
