Decided to give this a try. Works great, but every few days I had to get on a ladder to fix it cuz the string would end up wrapping around the pole until………I put the string thru metal tubes. I have 2 12” sections of metal tubing with very little string on either side connecting to the pole and to the kite. Worked like a charm. If you need longer length, use more tubes. 24” was perfect for my needs. Even with the tubes the flight flies well.
