I have started testing and it is very easy to use. Thank you and will be recommending to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product with a small issue. *by I***R on April 22, 2017* These strips arrived quickly and well packaged. I was buying these to measure my water and my media for cell cultures etc. (I'm a Chief Scientific Officer and Ph.D. in a biotechnology company). I was comparing them to another brand (Cat. #9590 from EMD) and my laboratory pH meter. My sample measured pH 7.4 on my meter and these strips accurately indicated a pH between 7 and 8. A pH 7.8 buffer was closer to 8 in color on the strip than the pH 7.4 indicating that these strips may be able to distinguish more than to +/-0.5 accuracy. Contrast was great. The EMD strips worked, but failed miserably in comparison.The only issue was the protocol: The protocol states to "dip" the stick in for 0.5 seconds and read the color value. When I dipped,the colors changed instantly as expected (for these strips), but the colors were bleeding off the strip (mostly gravity assisted).Thus, I would suggest a change in the protocol:Lay the strip horizontally on a clean surface. Using a pipette or dropper, drop a drop on each 'measuring square.' Pick up the strip keeping it flat and horizontally level and rotate it to 'flick off' any excess sample droplets, then read.I realize that would not make the product a 'dip-stick,' and that may be your requirement.Other than the bleeding, these strips Rock! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome and accurate *by M***N on September 21, 2015* You can use urine and saliva if containing it first. I bought these to test my dog. One of the major factors in fighting her cancer is keeping her PH between 7.4 and 8. Cancer cannot invade alkaline tissue, so monitoring her PH with these sticks is KEY.
