After trying a few fancier thermometers that I hated, I've been using this one for my cycle charts, and it gives me clean, clear, easy-to-read charts. All the fancy BBT therms gave me horribly rocky charts, PLUS they would all beep after a few seconds yet the directions would tell me to keep it in my mouth for up to 5 minutes. This thermometer, I can wait for the beep, chart the temperature that comes up with the beep, and get a clear-looking chart free from abnormal spikes and troughs.

**Q: Can the five inch thermometer fit in the mouths of adults and give accurate readings?**
A: The readings were very low and inaccurate. I threw mine away.

**Q: Is the battery replaceable?**
A: I haven't had it long enough to try to replace the battery, but, according to the instruction sheet, it is replaceable.

**Q: is the battery included**
A: Yes

**Q: Is this an oral thermometer? I dont understand if this is measured in the armpit or in the mouth**
A: It will work in the mouth, in the armpit, But you would have to have awful good ears to hear the beep that tells you to check it. I have never heard the beep.
