Excellent AIO for high TDP CPU's - if you can get it to fit
Upgraded system from Ryzen 5900X to 9900X. I don't overclock or game much, but 9900X set for higher TDP in BIOS. Initially reused old 240mm AIO (Corsair H100i Pro). Idle temp was ~50 C and 95+ C under heavy video editing with some throttling - needed to upgrade AIO too.Pros:Fantastic price of $86 can't be beat.Same system with 280mm Arctic idles in high 30's C and only hits mid-high 70's C under same load. That's 20C cooler under load! and no throttling.Supplied fans cool fantastically, yet can barely be heard under full load (1650 rpm)The Arctic components are impressively built. All parts HD and well finished. The AMD mounting was easy to install. Out of box everything setup for top of case install - nothing to change.Minor Cons:No install documentation provided - Web only and cannot be downloaded - had to view on another device during install. My case was "approved" (Corsair 4000D Airflow), but everything was very tight. Fan wires and memory modules inaccessible after radiator in place.Hoses are stiff - had to restrain with big tie wrap to allow case door to be put back.Pump speed reporting whacky - out of box showed 4000-4800 rpm? Had to dial-in a 0.6 adj factor to get readings to 2800 max.If it will fit, highly recommend this AIO for hot CPUs

Thick AIO but good cooling
Make sure that you check your case and motherboard compatibility because this one is a thick radiator. I was able to fit this in a Corsair 4000d barely with a Asus Tuf x570 plus motherboard and set it up was a breeze. You do have to put down some significant pressure on the screws that connect to the bracket in order to install the contact plate. Temps are in the low 30s and never goes past 70°C while gaming. Overall for the price and performance it’s worth it.

very good cooler with one problem....
This is my 3rd arctic AIO cooler, and so far they have been great. with the version 3 coolers though, they have substantially altered the mounting system by incorporating a flexible piece of metal into it to provide the contact tension, and quite frankly its kinda horrible. You need to apply A LOT OF DOWNWARD FORCE to get the screws on both sides to catch, and its danged NERVE WRACKING. Hearing a screw clank out of its location, switch to that one, screw on the other side pops out, etc... I was so afraid I'd crack the damned CPU or damage the motherboard. and because of the back and forth I probably dont have an even spread of paste.. 7800x3d seems to idle at about 44c at about 50 under moderate usage, hits low to middle 60's on some games... I'd suggest (ARCTIC), add screw threads to the bracket, you slide the cooler over, then use knurled knobs on each side to fasten it down, that way you could make the screws longer and you wouldnt have any issues. But anyways, I guess Dont Be Too Afraid To Apply Force, it seems to be ok. but its kinda a bad design (IMO) Good cooler though and it works great.

Very thick.
Radiator and fans are very thick. Like 70mm thick. Probably will have issues with a lot of micro ATX and mini itx builds. The cooler itself though is good.

Very tight fit on MasterCase Pro 5, but works great!
The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 280 AIO (All in One liquid cooler) was a very tight fit in my MasterCase Pro 5 and ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI). I had to snap off the safety clips on my 4pin x 2 CPU power cables (up at the top left) to get them seated on my motherboard with this installed. There is perhaps 1/4 to 1/8 inch clearance between the top of the motherboard and the bottom of the radiator fins. It's challenging to install on this specific case, but it's doable.Performance is fantastic. My temps are roughly the same (overclocked to a specific temp target of 75 - 80°c max on CPU and GPU), but acoustics are dramatically better. My PC is barely audible while idle and is 50% quieter while gaming at full GPU utilization (after re-running the mobo's built in fan speed curve auto tuner).I highly recommend this AIO if you have enough clearance (be sure to check, you could waste hours and have it not fit, it's very thick compared to the rest of the AIO market).

Classic arctic goodness
Well, it’s an arctic product. What that means is that this aio cools incredibly well at a good price (7900x build). If I had one gripe with this cooler, it would have to be the mount for the block. It takes some time to get everything aligned and a good amount of pressure to screw it down tight. I also own the 360mm version of this cooler, and they both work great.

Loud Operation - You Get What You Pay For
Pump is loud (more so with 3-way split connector, less so with single header cable). Even at idle, creates a loud "humm" harmonic.Fans are really loud, even at idle.Thicker radiator = more air pressure required. Cheap fans (like what are present here) have to be loud to generate this required pressure.VRAM fan is a gimmick. Only vreats additional noise, good case flow will perform same effect as this noisy little fan.Overall, you get what you pay for, and there is a reason it is so cheap.
