It is ideal for bonding and sealing of most materials on nearly all surfaces (porous or non-porous) in the building, engineering, automotive, shipbuilding sectors and many more. Parabond 600 has an excellent adhesion without primer, even on slightly damp surfaces.The Parabond 600 can also be used on alkali surfaces although porous surfaces should be treated with primer DL 2001 in advance. There are no bubbles or gas being produced on porous materials. It is a non staining product.Komo attest-with-product certificate nr 20764/06: Parabond 600 for the fixing of facade panels without nails or screw. It starts going off after around 30 seconds **Q: Can this sealant be used on a glass conservatory roof without damaging the glass or metal frame** A: This will bond well to both clean glass and clean metal. It can also form a seal if that is what you are looking for? It is also an adhesive which is what I have used it for. It has some flexibility, I'd say more than araldite but less than silicone rubber. It won't damage the glass or metal directly, but I'd suspect that if I stuck a sheet of glass to a sheet of metal (face to face) using a broad stripe at both ends and then left it out for 12 months, then at some point the glass would shatter due to the differential expansion on either a very hot or very cold day. If you think that is a problem for what you want to do then I'd use a silicon based adhesive or sealant. Your question doesn't say whether you are trying to glue or seal? **Q: Can you on to stick mirrors** A: Yes Parabond you can stick pretty much anything **Q: Can this product be painted** A: It has a very low mu factor so I think it would be difficult.
