Review: Honestly...what a camera! - I’ve been using the Sony A7III for both photography and video work, and it’s easily one of the best all-round cameras I’ve owned. The full-frame sensor delivers excellent image quality with great dynamic range and really strong low-light performance, which makes a big difference when shooting in less controlled environments. Whether I’m shooting photos or video, the results are consistently sharp and clean. Autofocus is a standout feature — it’s fast, reliable, and tracks subjects incredibly well, which is ideal for both moving shots and content creation. The 693-point AF system and tracking make it easy to stay locked onto subjects without constantly adjusting focus. ([DPReview][1]) For video, it handles 4K really well, and having S-Log profiles gives you more flexibility when colour grading. It’s not the newest camera anymore, but it still delivers professional-looking footage without needing to upgrade. Battery life is another huge plus — I can shoot for long periods without worrying about swapping batteries constantly, which is a big win on longer shoots. Build quality feels solid, and while it’s not the most rugged camera out there, it’s well put together and comfortable to use for long sessions. ([RTINGS.com][2]) Overall, this camera hits a perfect balance between performance, quality, and price. Whether you’re into photography, videography, or both, the Sony A7III is still an absolute workhorse.
Review: Low light capability, Battery life, photo quality... A*** - I've recently upgraded from the A6000, to the A7ii and now the A7iii. I'm not disappointed - Low light capabilities are second to none, and is heaps better than the previous A7ii. The focus points are much more accurate and quicker than previous models too. AF tracking works great on moving objects and the overall feel of the camera is great. Recording videos is also something I enjoy doing and have recorded using various lenses and have had no issues recording in 4k. Being part of the Wildlife Trust, in my spare time enjoy taking photos, both MACRO and ZOOM, this camera delivers in all areas. I've attached a few photos I've taken to look at (compression may be an issue, but gives you an idea nonetheless). The battery life is incredible compared to the A6000 and A7ii. Instead of hauling 7 batteries around with me, I now have 3 and have only needed to swap batteries once in the 2 months of having it. Great improvement and much needed. Overall, extremely good quality photos taken with an extremely good camera, and I couldn't be happier with it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any a7sii users able to comment on its lowlight capabilities or is the a7sii still king? how much of a margin is the low light performance between?**
A: A7Sii is roughly 2/3-1 stop ahead when talking about a maximum acceptable noise levels (~20000 iso vs ~12800 at a7iii), but its resolution is twice lower and the AF function is a joke.

PS: no, A7Siii probably not coming soon.

**Q: Is there any raw file conversion utility or software with this camera (cd etc?)**
A: Hi Tony,

You can edit and convert raw files using our free Imaging Edge software. You can find more information in this link: https://clc.to/TxfYwg (copy and paste the link into your web browser).

**Q: Does the camera have a Polish language in the menu? Optional?**
A: Hi,

If the camera is sold in Europe by a European seller, the camera should have Polish language as one of the default languages. You can find the full specifications of the camera here: clc.am/uLHZhQ (copy and paste the link into your web browser).

**Q: What lenses would i buy for this? with canon, i know to get "ef" lenses, but i don't know what to search for, with this.**
A: You can use any e mount lens but there are full frame versions of the e mount which have FE in the name. You can also adapt almost any lens to work with the camera using adapter rings (i. e. Sigma MC-11 to make Canon lenses compatible), this is good but generally slower (AF speed) than using an e mount lens.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too much for beginner, but absolutely no complaints
*by D***K on 6 September 2025*

This camera was bought by me and it is extremely professional. It takes a lot of time to learn it due to it's extremely high wuality features, but that said it is meant to be used by professional photographer. I got this camera as a beginner where after a few weeks i realised it can be overwhelming and a bit 'too much' for me. It is shooting absolutely brilliant sharp and extremely high wuality pictures and if you decide to go with it it will make you look like a professional even if you never had a camera in your hands.
