The best by date is only 4 months after the roasting date. This half caff option makes me feel better about having a third cup of coffee and keeping the caffeine intake within the recommended range. All of the other half caff beans that we've tried seem to somehow sacrifice flavor and aroma, but this one didn't. Great combination of being smooth, mellow, and aromatic, while also flavorful. The Even Keel was also a popular choice for our grandparent aged guests who have a little bit lower tolerance for caffeine.
