I had been afraid it was going to be too small for all kinds of card games because it was advertised for Catan. Fortunately, it accommodates many card sizes.
Review: Better quality than the product pictures. Works perfectly for Catan. - Excellent! I was worried these would look too much like a homemade 3D printed model. But, they look very nice. They do look better than the product pictures. However, like other reviews have mentioned, the bottoms look different than what is pictured. They do still come with little rubber feet though. However, my rubber feet had fallen off in the package, and I just had to find them and stick them back on. We use these for Catan, and they work perfectly; they fit the cards with a little room to spare. We have an older edition of Catan, and it did not come with the card holders like the newer editions and expansion packs, so this was a perfect replacement.

**Q: Will standard playing cards (not Catan cards) fit in these compartments?**
A: Yes! The Catan cards are about the same size as standard playing cards!

**Q: What are the dimensions of each card slot? Width x depth x length? Thank you**
A: My purchase was a gift so I don’t have access to measurements.  The slots are perfect for Catan cards which are a bit smaller than regular playing cards

**Q: Will this work with Ticket to Ride or Lanterns?**
A: It can work on ticket to ride (original), but the space is a bit bigger than the cards. It will still keep them organized, but they may not look as neat.  I have not played lanterns, so I cannot answer that.

**Q: What are the exact dimensions of the card slot? I'm creating an educational game for a graduate class w/custom laminated playing cards. Thanks**

Game changer, literally! This was one of the best investments for a game we have ever made. We purchased to use with Catan but since the slots aren't labeled it is versatile and could be used with numerous games! It makes being "banker" so much easier. It snaps together and is sturdy! Buy it and stop chasing cards around the table.
