    Plextor Drives are great!

I have had two Plextor DVD writers over the past 7 years.  My experience has been that they work great and last a long time.  The PX-716A that went out on me lasted 4 years and I made several hundred Video Discs with that drive.  I am replacing it with the PX-870A that I just bought.  I expect great results.  My oldest Plextor drive is the PX-504A.  It is still working great, just slow because it's an older model.  I hope this helps.
