I am a very handy weekend warrior and I found the added width/area for this sanding head to have two benefits 1.) it obviously kept me on a broader flatter plane than a more standard narrower sander (avoiding rutts) & 2.) it was much easier for me to articulate milding rotating the head of the sander creating the circular motion that some of my contractor friends recommended. Again lessening the chance for rutts and over sanding in one spot. As mentioned by others, the coupling for the pole was useless. My solution was to buy a breakdown pole with multiple section. In the first section I "reversed" the pole end, flooded the female end of the pole with two part epoxy, and set in the male end of this sander. The first section is now permanant and I add sections if needed. It worked perfectly for me.

A: It doesn’t come with the pole, but any generic adjustable threaded pole sold at Home Depot/Lowe’s will work if you have the male to female adapter. Try taking a look at the Wooster Sherlock Extension Pole in conjunction with this adapter

**Q: Have a textured wall and will skim coat to do level 5.  Would this be a good sander for a 3,000 sf home? Electrical sanders dig too much at low rpm**
A: Great sander. Used it for multiple level 5 finishes. You will need to use a different sander in the corners though

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced but produces great results

Way overpriced for some injection molded plastic and a small metal universal joint but it's the best tool I've found for finish sanding. The extra width helps prevent it from wanting to rotate as you push it and the sponge sanding pad is excellent at hitting the high spots without digging into the rest of the surface. Even with the finer grits it still removes plenty of material with each pass, which makes the work go more quickly while allowing for a light touch to prevent gouging.
