We talk about how we feel in the moment and my kiddo gets to voice his disdain for a situation with a safe adult. I highly recommend. I’m pretty sure it diverted us from and admission from day rehab. I'm raising my 15 yr old grandchild and it's been a long time since I had to deal with a teenager. I was at my wit's end and finding myself angry at her all the time, so I bought this book and it's made such an incredible difference in my attitude. I'd forgotten that when the parent changes their attitude, the child changes their behavior. Thank you so much for this book.
