## Description

desertcart.com : Mountain Valley Seed Co Micro Clover Seed for Lawn - 1 Lb - 400,000 | Microclover Seeds for Planting - Drought-Tolerant Mini Grass Alternative : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Review: Amazing product and company! - Amazing seeds, and love the packaging! You can tell the company cares about the product. These are the best little seeds I’ve used. They are coated, and when I sprinkled them around they sprouted up in a day or so. Cute little green leaves came out of the dirt so fast and thick. Very beautiful. Germination rate is very high indeed! I am definitely going to purchase a lot more seeds from this company in the near future.
Review: Not as advertised - Purchased this product, germination was excellent except there is nothing micro about this clover. I expected it to about 4 to 5 inches tall, to my surprise it’s about 10 to 12 inches tall. I’m not satisfied with this product at all, since I wanted to use it for low lawn cover and cutting clover is not easy. Very disappointed with this product. Since it takes a while to germinate and mature, I know I can’t expect a refund, it’s very sad.

## Features

- 🌱 Mini Clover Seeds – Non-GMO & Heirloom – Trifolium repens, a dwarf white clover with tiny leaves (1/3 to 1/2 the size of traditional clover). A low-growing, low-maintenance lawn alternative or cover crop. Perennial in Zones 3-10, annual elsewhere.
- 💧 Drought-Tolerant & Self-Sustaining – Requires less water than grass and stays lush and green year-round. Naturally fertilizes soil by fixing nitrogen from the air, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
- 🍃 No-Mow, Low-Growing Lawn Alternative – Grows only 4-6 inches tall, about half the height of traditional white clover. Ideal for eco-friendly, no-mow lawns, patch repair, and bee-friendly landscapes.
- 🛠️ Easy to Grow & Versatile – Sow 1-2 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. for a full clover lawn, or half for mixed seeding. Thrives in varied soil types, sun or shade, and is perfect for erosion control, pastures, and ground cover.
- 🏡 Grown & Packaged in the USA – From Mountain Valley Seed Company, trusted since 1974 for high-quality heirloom seeds. Each ounce contains ~25,000 seeds, ensuring dense, uniform coverage for a healthier, greener lawn.

### ⭐ The seed is filled with weeds
*by K***E on July 10, 2026*

I did not want to leave a one star review; and I probably would have left a 2 or 3 star review if my interaction with their support wasn't so bad. My husband and I i want to go to a no mow grass, and clover makes sense. Especially microclover. We ordered microclover. The weekend that we planted it, we spent a day pulling up the grass and tilling the dirt. Then, we laid down our first round of seeds. We knew that some would not take, so we had planned on doing several rounds. We just started with the front part of our lawn. Yesterday was about the 6 week mark and our front lawn was overrun with with a weedy kind of grass. There was clover growing, but it was mostly the weedy tall grass. We pulled it out and laid some more clover down. I actually knew that this would be a process. I did not, however, think that the clover seed had so much weed in it. I came on to amazon to see if I could talk to somebody about this because I really didn't want to leave a bad review as I believe that everybody should go no mow. There's c s r was nice, but she told me I had to email them with pictures and she couldn't help me resolve it. I didn't take pictures, we just pulled out the grass. I hadn't intended leaving a review until I thought about it today. This is unfortunate, and I will try to find another source for clover.Because this is what I want to do. I just wasn't expecting the clover seemed to be so filled with weeds, and I was not expecting to have such a bad customer service experience.
