This book is part of a collection to change your practice in the elementary classroom. Peter Liljedahl is a mathematic professor at the university Simon Fraser in Vancouver in Canada. He regularly presents his findings at teacher conferences. His approach to teaching math is hands-on and helps students to collaborate and think deeply. This approach aligns with the core competencies of the BC curriculum. I recommend this book to teachers who are keen to try teaching math in an engaging way.

I am a 3rd grade Hybrid Math teacher and I purchased the first book. This book is great! It gives some wonderful activities that have a love floor and high ceiling. I highly recommend it as it is a game-changer for the classroom! Create a math classroom where all students are engaged.

First, a short summary of the book Thinking Classroom. Secondly, there were some nice exercises with student solutions and a summary by the author. The exercises part was more interesting because TCM had already been read. A very useful book that could also be in Estonian.
