I had previously tried using plastic sprouting tray containers, but they didn’t work well for me. Most of my batches turned out moldy and slimy, with a bad smell and I had to discard them. After several failed attempts, I eventually gave up on making sprouts altogether. Then I came across an ad for this jar and decided to give it a try. I'm writing this review after using the jar for a 10 days. It turned out to be the perfect solution for sprouting. Maybe it's because of the rinsing and air circulation, my sprouts grew long, fresh, and crunchy, with no mold or slime at all. I simply rinse them 2-3 times a day and let the jar drain at an angle using the handle on the lid. Cleaning is super easy too. The only drawback I could find is the size of the jar is a bit small, it's only enough for two people, and the sprouts will be filled upto the brim even if you fill less than 1/3rd of the jar. People looking for making sprouts for 3-4 people should buy two jars, I guess. And also the price is a bit higher on the side. Overall, I love this sprouting jar. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable sprouting method. Review: The product makes perfect sprouts. - Completely happy with the product. I got perfect sprouted moong in 2.5 days from scratch. There is no smell and the taste is sparkling fresh. I just followed the instructions given in the recipe booklet provided with the jar. ## Features - ORIGINAL PATENTED DESIGN (No. 408512-001) — The sprout-me Sprout Maker Jar is India's first design-patented glass sprouter, crafted from premium borosilicate glass that resists cracking, retains zero odour, and stays crystal clear even after years of daily use. Unlike ordinary thin-glass copies that chip and cloud within months, our jar is built for families who sprout every single day. 720ml capacity — perfect for 2-3 servings of fresh sprouts daily for a family of 4. - ENGINEERED 132-HOLE VENTILATED LID — Our specially designed BPA-free food-grade lid features exactly 132 precision-drilled holes calibrated for optimal air circulation and water drainage during sprouting. This engineering ensures sprouts grow 30-40% faster with longer, crunchier roots compared to standard mesh lids. Perfect for small seeds like methi, alfalfa, broccoli, and radish that fall through ordinary wide-mesh lids — every seed sprouts, nothing goes to waste. - BUILT-IN SLANTED DRAINAGE STAND — No more messy countertops or waterlogged sprouts. Our patented built-in stand tilts the jar at the perfect angle for complete water drainage and air circulation — the two essentials for hygienic, mould-free sprouting. Specially engineered for Indian kitchen conditions where humidity is high and sprouting needs precise ventilation. Just soak, drain, tilt, and let nature do the rest — fresh sprouts ready in 24-48 hours. - SPROUTS EVERY INDIAN GRAIN & SEED — Tested and perfected for sprouting moong dal, chana, chole, masoor, rajma, moth beans, wheat, ragi, alfalfa, broccoli seeds, fenugreek (methi), mixed sprouts, and microgreens. Whether you are making protein-rich breakfast salads, adding sprouts to your evening chaat, preparing gym-friendly high-protein meals, or feeding nutritious sprouts to growing children and elderly family members — this one jar handles it all, hygienically and effortlessly. - INCLUDES 60-RECIPE PRINTED BOOK & PREMIUM GIFT BOX — Not a downloadable PDF or a flimsy card — you receive a proper full-colour printed "Ultimate Home Sprouter Guide" with 60 tested, healthy recipes using fresh homegrown sprouts, from dal preparations to salads to smoothies. The sprout-me jar comes in exclusive fitted gift packaging, making it the perfect thoughtful gift for health-conscious mothers, newlywed couples setting up their kitchen, fitness enthusiasts, Diwali gift hampers, and housewarming celebrations. - TRUSTED BY 10,000+ INDIAN FAMILIES — sprout-me is India's original glass sprout maker brand with a registered design patent, 1,000+ orders, and recognition as an desertcart Top Brand. I got perfect sprouted moong in 2.5 days from scratch. There is no smell and the taste is sparkling fresh. I just followed the instructions given in the recipe booklet provided with the jar. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Sprout Maker, But Pricey *by R***I on 21 January 2025* I'm pleased with this sprout maker, which has solved my sprouting issues. The design is clever, and it's eliminated my concerns about draining water. However, I do think it's overpriced - you're paying for the idea rather than the materials. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include a steel strainer instead of the plastic one. Overall, it's a well-designed product that works as promised. If you're willing to invest in a convenient sprouting solution, this might be the product for you. Taking away one star for in this price a steel strainer should have been given. ## Frequently Bought Together - sprout-me Sprout Maker Jar | Hygienic Glass Sprout Maker Jar With 60 Recipe Book, Fresh Sprouted Grains Seeds, Ragi Beans Sprout Maker Jar For Living Healthy Life-720 Ml,Green - ZEVON® Yogurt Filter Strainer,1100 ML Greek Yogurt Strainer with a Fine Mesh BPA-Free | Curd Maker with Yogurt Filter Strainer | Hung Curd Maker for Home | Perfect Also for Homemade Cheese & More --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/619691454-sprout-me-glass-sprout-maker-jar-720ml-design-registered-60](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/619691454-sprout-me-glass-sprout-maker-jar-720ml-design-registered-60) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
