The application is carried out according to a procedure registered by the Patent Office for Etari GmbH. The professional application thanks to the dent press is easy by placing the cold adhesive on the surface to be treated and Rotating and lateral movements that push out the air. (The surface must be free from grease, water and warm at least 20 Β°C). Then the pull hammer, or Slide hammer used. You do not pull the slide hammer, but beats with the moving weight with a rapid stroke. After treatment, the adhesive can be easily removed from the surface by slowly peeling off. New! Storage box. Advantages of the adhesive system Before applying the adhesive to the adapter, degrease the adapters with silicone remover. The surface must be free from grease, water and warm at least 20 Β°C. Then the pull hammer is used. After treatment, the adhesive can be easily removed from the surface by slowly peeling off. Principle of use: During first use, cold glue is applied to the previously degreased adapters (e.g. with silicone remover, alcohol or brake cleaner). The application temperature should be from 18 to 25 Β°C. At low temperatures, you can heat the surface to be treated or the cold glue with a hair dryer. It can also be kneaded until it becomes soft and sticks properly to the hands. It is recommended to heat the degreased adapter with a hair dryer before applying the cold glue to the adapter so that the glue sticks better after cooling. How to use the Midiar cold adhesive system? The pull hammer or Slide hammer is ideally used in combination with other dent removal tool. Before use, the surface to be treated should be degreased (e.g. with silicone remover, alcohol or brake cleaner), clean and dry. Then stick the adapter to the dent with the cold adhesive and by pressing and lateral movements you achieve better adhesion. If you use the cold glue for approx. 1-2 minutes on the surface, it sticks even better. (For repainted or filled areas, the paint can be torn off. Please check first.) It is recommended not to pull the pull hammer to build the tension, but to beat directly with the moving weight part of the hammer. When working with cold adhesive, it is recommended to remove the rubber damping part which is built over the impact part in order to be able to hit sharper. As this is a universal hammer (also for working with hot glue), we supply it with this built-in damping part. When the dent repair is finished and the adhesive is still adhered to the sheet, you peel it off by gripping it close to the sheet and then slowly peel it off. Simply pick off the remaining rest of the mass with the cold adhesive. If the dent is not completely removed, you can remove the rest of the dent with other push tool, such as Righting hook or hot glue system, or other dent tool to get a faster result in combination. The adhesive system is mainly used for larger parking dents, but it can also be used as an auxiliary instrument for small soft dents, even when hail damage.
