Window motor worn out? This power window lift motor is precision-engineered to match the fit and performance of the original motor in specific vehicle years, makes and models for a reliable replacement.

Review: worked great and nice cost - my only complaint is minor since i was doing both front door window motors at the same time, the motors were labeled on the part for the wrong side but i do think the boxes were marked properly. they work great, very fast and they fit the factory regulator assembly nice, you may have to bump the motors with 12 v to spin the gear so it lines up to your regulator bolt holes. if you get the regulator and motor assembly you wont have to worry about that. connecting the electric was easy with the premade connections provided with the motor. i am very happy but it did bother me a bit that the part said RH and it was bolted to the drivers door window regulator. I did them one door at a time so i did not get them mixed up i even made the owner of the truck look so i was not crazy. but since the boxes were correct if you were only ordering one you should get what you need.

**Q: Can anyone tell me thegear motor shaft diameter? And does it look like the gear could be removed? I'm using this item for something for else.**
A: Unfortunately both of them are in the trunk of my Lincoln about ten miles from here. As I recall when I was repairing the old motor, the "guard" or casing surrounding the gear was a single piece part of the motor case. I will plow out of our snow and brave the minus twelve on Thursday to go have a look. My first response is, no, but I can have an answer in a couple of days. Shaft is about 5/16's I think, but again, will measure.

**Q: Will this fit 1992 f150 xlt driver side?**
A: Yes. I used it on my 94 xlt

**Q: I have one right front motor and one left front motor.  will these same motors work of right rear and left rear?**
A: My Bronco II is a two door. You need to compare the front motors in your front doors now with the ones in the back doors. If they are the same, then I don't see why they would not work.

**Q: I bought the 742-250 for a left window but the part in the box is stamped RH. Is this the correct 742-250 or is this a 251 in the wrong box?**
A: Should refer to "Driver side" or "Passenger side" not Left or Right.  Generally, the 250 is for the driver's side and is marked RH.

My truck's driver's side window motor replacement regulator gear plugs disintegrated for a second time and I decided it was time to just buy a new motor. All the required hardware is supplied with this motor along with adapters allowing application to several Ford vehicles. Installation was straightforward with no major problems - especially since I had done this before replacing the gear plugs. Do a web search for full installation instructions. I did have to elongate one of the mounting holes to get it line up with the mounting bracket - easy with a drill, no big thing. It does use self-tapping mounting screws which work fine. The window now works perfectly, faster than before. Great price from Amazon. I hope it's the last time I have to visit the inside of my door...
