How far does the bike lean out from the wall? A standard road bike with drop bars will be leaning out (at 25 degrees) roughly 26 inches from the wall. The DaHANGER Dan is a very solid and space efficient option for hanging bikes. It was straightforward to install, but does require studs for the Dan portion. It is capable of handling the load of our heavier hybrid bikes and our lighter road bikes.I recommend watching the video of installation first.
